American Homes 4 Rent plans $1.25B IPO

American Homes 4 Rent filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission to raise up to $1.25 billion in an initial public offering.

The real estate investment trust focused on acquiring, renovating, leasing and operating single-family homes as rental homes did not disclose how many shares of its common stock were being offered.

Additionally, the filing does not reveal a specific price per share.

The lead bookrunners for the IPO include Goldman Sachs (GS), Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAC), JPMorgan Chase (JPM), Citigroup (C) and Wells Fargo Securities (WFC).
