Consulting firm MTG Services hires two executives

Mortgage industry veterans Richard Bitner and Scott Myers join MTG Services

Industry consulting firm MTG Services announced the hiring of Richard Bitner as the organization’s chief strategy officer, and Scott Myers as executive vice president.

“Richard and Scott come to MTG Services with decades of experience spanning all facets of mortgage origination and servicing,” said James Zeldin, president of MTG Services.  “Their collective ability to blend strategy, analytics, operations and business development is something rarely seen in the industry and we are excited to have them on the team.”

Prior to joining the Atlanta-based company, Bitner (photo below, top) was president of HousingWire. 

Prior to that, he managed Kellner Mortgage Investments, a Dallas-based wholesale mortgage company. He is also the author of Confessions of a Subprime Lender: An Insider's Look at the Mortgage Collapse.

Myers (photo below, bottom) has more than 30 years of industry experience and most recently served as the executive vice president of operations for BSI Financial. Before joining BSI, he was the president of RSVP and Standard Trust Deed, two privately held organizations that provide national foreclosure-related services. Myers is also a recognized industry expert in of mortgage origination, loan servicing, default management and title services.
