Zillow VP of mortgages joins Washington Federal board of directors

Erin Lantz will serve on bank's board

Erin Lantz, the vice president and general manager of mortgages for the Zillow Group, will be joining the board of directors of Washington Federal, the bank announced Wednesday.

As Zillow’s VP of mortgages, Lantz “leads Zillow’s efforts to empower consumers with information and tools to make smart decisions about financing homes,” according to Lantz’s bio on Zillow’s website.

Additionally, “Erin speaks with experience and knowledge about home loans, refinancing, mortgage rate trends, mortgage-related policy, and the different financing options for borrowers,” her bio continues.

According to a release from the bank, Lantz (pictured right) joined Zillow from Bank of America, where she served as senior vice president, leading the bank’s direct-to-consumer purchase home loan business. Before entering the mortgage industry, Lantz worked at the Boston Consulting Group.
