First Guaranty hires two account executives for its correspondent division

Each brings more than 25 years of experience

First Guaranty Mortgage Corporation, a residential mortgage lending service provider, recently announced David Sorsabal and Marty Richardson as its new account executives for the correspondent division of the Western region.

“David and Marty are both exceptional additions to the western region led by Van Evans, Regional Sales Manager,” said Mark Mayhook, senior director of TPO Production. “Their experience, product knowledge, and industry relationships are a true value-add to the company.”

“David will manage Seller relationships in Washington, Idaho and Wyoming; and Marty will manage Northern California and Nevada,” Mayhook said.

Sorsabal(pictured first) brings more than 25 years of mortgage industry experience to the company. Before joining FGMC, Sorsabal worked as assistant vice president and secondary marketing manager for AmericanWest Bank, secondary marketing of Mountain West Bank, vice president of secondary marketing for MortgageTree Lending, vice president of secondary marketing for Golden Empire Mortgage and pricing coordinator of secondary marketing for GlenFed Mortgage.

Richardson(pictured second) also brings more than 25 years of mortgage industry experience. Previously, he worked as the correspondent account executive for Impac Mortgage, business development manager of conduit division for Indymac Bank, sales director of correspondent lending for GMAC-RFC; vice president and regional account executive of correspondent lending for First Union Home Equity Bank, director and national sales manager for Access Financial Lending Corporation, assistant vice president and regional sales manager for Commerce Security Bank and assistant vice president and regional sales manager for United California Savings Bank.
