Mötley Crüe lead singer finally close to selling his home in California for $2.58M

He hasn’t lived there for five years

He's the one they call Dr. Feelgood and here's why.

Lead singer of Mötley Crüe Vince Neil is finally about to close on his home in Danville, California that he has tried to sell since October 2012, although he hasn’t even lived there for the past five years.

According to an article in realtor.com, the 5,370-square-foot home is expected to close within a week.

From the article:

One of the major selling points for the four-bedroom, five-bathroom Mediterranean-style manse is the sprawling outdoor patio and backyard that feature hand-painted Italian tile at the bottom of the fountain-studded pool, statues imported from Paris, and kitchen with marble features.

However, this ornate backyard might be the same reason Neil’s name recently popped up on a list of 1,802 customers of the East Bay Municipal Utility District who, during their most recent 60-day billing cycle, used more than a cap of roughly 1,000 gallons of water per day, an article on Blabbermouth.net.

As a note, the article added that the average household uses between 300 and 400 gallons daily.

Interestingly enough, Neil tweeted out that this was news to him, especially given that he hasn’t even lived in the house for over five years.
