Network Funding hires Matt Kiker as president

Also promotes Brett Snortland and Richard Jefferson

Network Funding, LP, a Houston-based private residential mortgage lending company, has hired Matt Kiker (pictured above) to serve as president and promoted Brett Snortland to executive vice president and Richard Jefferson to vice president of sales and branch operations.

Kiker has nearly 30 years of experience in the mortgage industry, most recently serving as director for the mortgage-consulting firm, Garrett, McAuley & Co. In his new role as president of Network Funding, Kiker is responsible for overseeing various facets of the business, including day-to-day operations, enhancing production and overseeing development of the business.

“Matt is laser-focused on doing things with excellence so that we can grow and grow well,“ said Network Co-Chairman Buzz Baker. “He’s also passionate about protecting who we are as a company and has shown himself to be a man who is consistent with our core values.”

SnortlandSnortland, who has worked for Network Funding for eight years, will be more focused in growing the business by leading the initiative to recruit regional managers, area managers and new branches in his new role as executive vice president.

Snortland will continue to provide support services to the regional and area managers and branches. In addition, he will work closely with Network Funding leadership regarding sales planning, recruiting and future growth strategies. 

SnortlandJefferson, a seasoned mortgage lending professional with more than 20 years of experience in the industry, will serve as vice president of sales and branch operations for Network Funding. In his new role, he will work with all new and current branches and provide support services to the area managers and branches in regard to on-boarding, training, daily management, recruiting and reporting.
