Stonegate Mortgage Corporation (SGM) named Scott Houp as senior vice president and third-party origination eastern division manager.

In this new role, he will work with Greg Armstrong, senior vice president and third-party origination western division manager, and will also focus on new growth strategies, technologies and sales management.

Houp brings more than 25 years of experience in the mortgage industry. Previously, he has held executive and management positions at Kinecta Federal Credit Union, MetLife and Washington Mutual Bank.

In addition, Dwayne Cook will assume the role of senior vie president and third party origination program manager, where he will work closely with Houp and Armstrong.
