Dallas-based HomeStar announced the addition of Matt Richey as the company’s new senior vice president of field service operations. In this role, Richey will be responsible for driving growth initiatives in the areas of construction, renovation, property preservation and environmental remediation.

Richey comes to HomeStar from Beyond 4 Walls Remodeling, a Dallas-based residential renovation company, which he co-owns. Richey’s career began 10 years ago as a project manager overseeing luxury residential community construction. Richey was then promoted to the role of managing operations for large residential community projects.

From there, Richey joined GMAC Mortgage, where he held various management positions from 2008 to 2013. During his time at GMAC Mortgage, Richey oversaw sales, asset management, REO financing, broker management and REO repairs at various times.
