From the same guys that brought you “What bankers really think about President’s Day,” “The Columbus Day video Most Banks Don’t Want You to See,” brought another dose of friendly, patriotic, humor to the forgotten holiday.  

Not all banks are created equal and not all banks gets Columbus Day off. But last year Central National Bank made it their mission, or better yet “challenge” to bring light to the pressing issue. One year later, and the video is still just as hysterical. 

“To these banks, specifically Oregon Community Bank and Trust, Bank of Nevada and the Bank of Hawaii I challenge you to do the right thing and join us in celebrating the honor of this great Italian-American hero Christopher Columbus. You have 48 hours to respond.”   

Side Note: Central National Bank is based in Waco, Texas. And if y’all are lucky enough to live in the great, southern state of Texas, like us, schools everywhere get the day off to partake in not only Columbus Day but bask in the great Texas tradition of the State Fair of Texas.
