RealtyTrac premiered its first-ever investor insider report, titled Real Estate Investor Purchase and Finance Patterns 2011 to 2013.

The research looks at investor habits in the real estate market during the past few years.

It covers the types of properties purchased, while studying cash-purchases, financed purchases and property values among other topics.

Key metrics covered in the report include, transaction by financing type, financing by lender, transaction by situation and transaction by amount.
