Obama meets with financial regulators

Discusses progress on Wall Street reform law

According to Reuters, President Barack Obama plans to discuss the progress in implementing the 2010 Wall Street reform law, known as the Dodd-Frank Act, with leading market regulators.

As of July 15, the law firm Davis Polk found that a total of 279 Dodd-Frank rulemaking requirement deadlines had passed. Of those, only 38.4% were met with finalized rules, while a total of 61.6% were missed, Reuters reported.
