Collateral valuation technology firm Platinum Data Solutions named Phil Huff chief executive officer.

Huff succeeds company founder Rocky Donathan, who expects to maintain an active role within the company.  

Prior to joining Platinum Data Solutions, Huff co-founded and served document technology provider eLynx as CEO. 

Aliso Viejo, Calif.-based Platinum Data Solutions offers appraisal products that detect appraisal errors and fraud, while also offering automated quality control technology.
