New offer negotiation tool offers quicker closings

Mortgage software provider, RES.NET, introduced a new offer negotiation feature that allows real estate agents to post unique links to the MLS and other marketing websites.

introduced a new offer negotiation feature that allows real estate agents to post unique links to the MLS and other marketing websites.

“The ability to post links gives agents ultimate control over the interaction by allowing them to manage negotiations and organize offers and counter offers in one, centralized location,” said Todd Mobraten, COO and president of RES.NET.

Previously, buyer’s agents were forced to mail of fax important documents, but with the new submission link tool, they can submit offers to the listing agents directly via the platform. This also allows agents to maintain an archived database of offers received and the associated communications.

“By engaging all parties online through a common platform, all documents and communications become electronic, and the paperless environment this creates results in a significant cost savings and faster closings,” Mobraten added.

RES.NET offers five other interconnected portals that alleviate communication errors that can offer during a real estate transaction.

“With today’s low inventory, agents are receiving an exceptionally large volume of offers, and they need a tool like the one RES.NET provides to remain organized,” said Jesse Zagorksy, a San Diego-based real estate agent/broker. “We are able to manage the offer submission and review process easily and quickly, no matter how many offers we receive.”
