The National Credit Union Administration postponed the effective date for the recent approved final rule on loan participations by two months, moving the deadline to Sept. 23. 

The regulation was passed earlier this month and initially had a scheduled July 25 effective date. However, due to some of the difficulties faced by insured credit unions, the date was pushed back.
