Notary signing services provider MortgageDocs named Christian Redmond chief executive officer as the firm refocuses its strategy in the mortgage servicing space.

The Irvine, Calif.-based company hired Redmond from The Walz Group, a document technology and compliance services firm. In his previous role, Redmond served as vice president of business development.

He brings extensive experience in the mortgage servicing space to his new role and is arriving at a time when MortgageDocs is looking to grow its client base while enhancing its SignSTAT tech platform.
