Law allows for quick demolition of vacant homes in Ohio county

A local county in Ohio is ready to speed up the process of demolishing vacant and distressed properties.

Franklin County, Ohio, has plans to bulldoze hundreds of homes in the fall, with a new law eliminating the sheriff’s sale auction option.

The new process gives judges, as well as county and city land banks, an opportunity to expedite the process of moving inhabitable homes.
