Ivan Choi was voted chair-elect of the Asian Real Estate Association of America.
AREAA is a nonprofit trade group and represents 12,000 Asian American members of the housing market. Choi is the senior vice president of asset management firm Matt Martin Real Estate Management.
“AREAA provides a powerful voice for real estate professionals who represent the rapidly growing Asian American community,” Choi said. “I’m pleased to have the opportunity serve as the head of this influential trade association.”
Choi long supported using more real estate agents and mortgage professionals of diverse backgrounds. He hosted a panel at REO Expo on how these agents can serve minority neighborhoods and work with foreign investors.
