Idahoans are about to reap the benefits of the national mortgage settlement, with more than 6,500 Idaho residents about to receive checks for approximately $1,480, an article in the Idaho Press said.
According to the report, one in every 21 properties in the Boise-Nampa area received a foreclosure filing, making the city one of the hardest hit metro markets.
