Retail mortgage lender Guaranteed Rate announced last week it has brought back Michael Gambatese as its senior vice president of mortgage lending.

Gambatese has 20 years of experience in the industry and previously worked at Guaranteed Rate from 2005 to 2017.

Gambatese joins Guaranteed Rate from loanDepot, where he served as a senior loan officer.

“We are thrilled to welcome Mike back,” said Dan Moran, the executive vice president of sales for Guaranteed Rate. “His extensive experience in building strong relationships with customers and referral partners throughout Chicago and the Midwest will be a huge asset to Guaranteed Rate as we continue our momentous growth in the region.”

For eight consecutive years, Gambatese was named a Top 1% Mortgage Originator by Mortgage Executive Magazine.

Based in Chicago, Gambatese will focus on loan originations.

Gambatese averages $65 million in yearly production.
