Title insurance and escrow firm Title365 expanded to Texas Monday with the official opening of a new office in Dallas-Fort Worth.
The Newport Beach, Calif.-based company said its Texas office will be led by Gregory Roddy, who has practiced law for 20 years and gained extensive experience in title operations while working for Fidelity.
Roddy is a licensed escrow officer in Texas and previously served as chief operating officer and director of title and settlement services at Premium Title Services Inc., a division of Atlanta-based Altisource.
Charlie Scott, another title insurance industry veteran, has been hired to serve as vice president and area manager for the DFW region.
The move into Texas allows Title365 to serve clients through Ordertrac, a platform that gives customers real-time updates through e-mails and text messages.
