Anthony Renzi, the executive who oversees the single-family mortgage business at Freddie Mac, resigned, according to media reports.
Renzi will leave next month to accept a job with another financial company, Freddie CEO Ed Haldeman said Monday in an internal email, according to The Associated Press. The other company wasn’t named.
He joins a growing list of industry veterans leaving. CEO Ed Haldeman will leave this summer.
The Wall Street Journal said some executives argue the departures from Freddie and Fannie Mae make it difficult to manage the companies and their $5 trillion mortgage business.
