Florida drew nearly one-third of foreign homebuyers in the U.S. in 2011, according to the South Florida Business Journal.

A National Association of Realtors survey shows the Sunshine State lured 31% of foreign buyers in the U.S., considerably more than any other state. Florida’s share of those purchases increased substantially in the last three years, according to NAR, after it saw just 9% in 2008.
