The U.S. residential primary servicer rating for Carrington Mortgage Services remains on stable outlook with the company’s high-touch servicing model receiving favorable reviews from Fitch Ratings.
The ratings giant affirmed the servicer’s residential primary servicer rating for Carrington’s subprime product at ‘RPS3’.
As for why Carrington’s ratings were affirmed, Fitch pointed to the company’s improved internal controls which are keeping pace with the regulatory environment, its technology initiatives and stable and strong employee base.
