Residential property manager FirstService Residential named Chuck Fallon chief executive officer this week, a role in which he will steer the company’s next phase of growth.

Fallon succeeds Gene Gomberg, who will continue to serve as chairman.

Fallon comes from pest control company Terminix International, where he previously served as president.

Prior to that, Fallon served Burger King Holdings as president for North America from 2006 through 2010.

He also spent eight years at Cendant Corp., a global travel and real estate firm.

In his role as CEO, Fallon will be leading 12,000 employees and overseeing a client portfolio of 6,500 properties and 1.4 million residential units.
