Fannie Mae announced that servicers can learn more about complying with the Federal Housing Finance Agency’s new directives forcing the government-sponsored enterprises to align their servicing contracts.

The GSE said it is hosting a webinar on Dec. 13, for individuals involved in loan servicing, collections, foreclosure and default prevention.

The new guidelines are part of the FHFA’s initiative to “align selling and servicing contracts,” Fannie Mae said.
