Equator announced Sevak Markarian as its new vice president of quality assurance. The position will require Markarian oversee the company’s quality assurance efforts in its development, testing and delivery of industry-leading solutions for servicers, service providers and real estate agents.
Previously, Markarian held management level positions in quality assurance and process improvement, giving him well over a decade of information technology experience. The new VP is a recognized expert in software quality assurance and previously authored and co-authored numerous papers on the topic.
Markarian’s experience managing large, enterprise QA teams in environments involving multiple and customized software releases made him an obvious candidate for the position. Prior to joining Equator, Markarian worked for Accelrys as senior QA director.
