eGistics, Inc., said Monday that it has launched a hosted solution that image-enables the lending process from end-to-end. The solution streamlines the lending process from loan application to resale by using on-demand images, routing and workflow to significantly reduce the friction, time and cost of paper-constrained processes, the company said in a press statement. “Today’s launch marks a significant milestone for the lending industry as we help drive the transformation from paper to electronic processing, just as we have done in the payments arena,â€? said eGistics chairman and CEO Bob Lund. “By combining our hosted, component-based architecture with advanced workflow and process automation technologies, we’re changing the way companies manage the lending process, end-to-end.â€? Built on a hosted, archive-driven platform, eGistics said its image-based solution enables work to be electronically distributed across an unlimited geographical area, and provides for concurrent document processing and access, with no investments in infrastructure or vendor-specific technology. User-defined workflow tools are configurable to meet any lending process, including workforce performance monitoring, automated load balancing between users and user groups, skill-based routing, and managerial views into the entire lending process. eGistics said its lending solution is designed to complement existing loan origination systems, as its solution is platform-independent and utlizes open database design. The platform also supports the lending industry’s move toward first-touch/first-scan methodology (paper-free processing), with built-in support for multiple input channels, including integration with e-mail, fax server and third-party information providers. eGistics is showcasing its new lending solution during MBA’s National Technology in Mortgage Banking Conference & Expo, March 25-28 in Tampa Bay, Florida.
