Dallas-area squatter faces eviction from $300,000-plus home

The man who paid $16 to live in a $300,000 home in Flower Mound, Texas, was a no-show in eviction court Monday, and neighbors say they saw vans moving items from the property over the weekend.

Ken Robinson drew national attention when he secured access to the abandoned home in an affluent Denton County neighborhood by filing a county affidavit.

The only cost: $16 for the filing fee. Bank of America holds the title on the home, which sold in January for more than $400,000. Read more at the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
