Churchill Mortgage expands footprint in Michigan

Brentwood, Tenn.-based Churchill Mortgage is expanding its footprint to two Michigan metros: Grand Rapids and the greater Lansing area.

The mortgage firm provides residential mortgages to borrowers across 26 states and will now add these two branches to its repertoire.

Evan Vanderwey and Steve Vanderwey will join the firm to lead the two branches. Previously, both served as advisors for Cornerstone Wealth Partners and were co-owners of Cornerstone Home Loans for more than 14 years, the company said.

“Our branches in Michigan are instrumental to our commitment to serve the financing needs of the communities in the Greater Lansing area and in Grand Rapids,” said Mike Hardwick, president of Churchill Mortgage.

He added, “By recruiting these two teams of mortgage lending experts, we are confident we will continue to help more individuals achieve their goal of owning a home.”
