CB Richard Ellis|New England (CBRENE), the joint venture between the Whittier Partners Group and the commercial property firm, named an executive vice president of capital markets. Banking and financial services industry veteran Connie Pemmerl is joining the largest full-service commercial real estate services company in New England from her own consulting practice that specialized in underwriting and structuring complex real estate transactions, debt re-structuring and troubled work-outs. Pemmerl will lead CBRENE’s business development efforts with national banking institutions. Before consulting, she worked as EVP of the commercial real estate group for Fleet National Bank where she orchestrated the first non-government sponsored bulk loan sale by a financial institution, according to CB Richard Ellis. Pemmerl has served as director of capital markets and portfolio management with Berkshire Mortgage Finance and as director of debt placements with Boston Financial. Write to Jacob Gaffney.
