Warren Buffet will become one of Goldman Sachs‘ (GS) ten largest shareholders basically for free after he and the banking giant amended a 2008 deal to exchange potential profit on Goldman warrants for stocks.
The exchange saves Buffet billions of dollars in upfront costs and lets Goldman minimize dilution to its stock.
