Beazer Homes USA (BZH) saw its third-quarter loss narrow as the home builder reported more home closings, new orders and higher home prices, the Wall Street Journal reported.
Still, the builder’s earnings were lower than expected for the 3Q period.
Beazer posted a net loss of $39.9 million, or 40 cents a share. That compares to a year earlier loss of $59.1 million, or 80 cents a share.
Meanwhile, revenue jumped 47% to $254.6 million.
