Bank of America (BAC)is laying off 675 workers in two Fort Lauderdale offices where employees modify mortgages, the company said Thursday.
The layoffs are part of 30,000 job cuts that the nation’s second-largest bank had announced last September and are aimed at reducing costs and boosting its sagging stock price.
