It’s not easy to maintain the value of a property, when the next door neighbor insists on being a nuisance. According to Steve Cook with Real Estate Economy Watch, the Appraisal Institute is worried about the financial impact of having a bad neighbor.

They can make life miserabe with bad pets and unkept yards. And what’s even worse is they have the potential to diminish nearby property values.
