Allonhill, a third-party review firm specializing in mortgage due diligence and credit risk management, today announced Michael Richardson as the new managing director of due diligence. He will manage all aspects of the firm’s due diligence offering to private clients and oversee government due diligence operations. “Richardson’s in-depth knowledge of mortgage fraud detection and quality control will be a tremendous asset in our efforts to provide clarity to investors around the true value and risks associated mortgage-backed securities,” said Sue Allon, CEO and founder of the Denver-based firm. She was named one of the Denver Journal‘s Outstanding Women in Business in August. Richardson previously served as director and chief quality officer for Mortgage Fraud Solutions Group, a mortgage services company specializing in mortgage fraud and quality control audits, as well as CEO of Metro American Mortgage. He founded Lender Live in 2009. Richardson is also the author of “An American Epidemic, Mortgage Fraud…a Serious Business” and regularly contributes to publications such as National Mortgage News and National Mortgage Professional. Write to Christine Ricciardi.
