National appraisal management company United States Appraisals has announced the hiring of David Wegmann and John Powell as business development managers.
Wegmann brings more than 20 years of experience in regional and national account sales, sales management, and executive-level relationship building within multiple business environments. Wegmann is based in the Chicago area and before joining USA he held sales management positions with Nadlan Valuation, Buyers Access and Spectrus Real Estate Group. He also served as a litigation analyst for JPMorgan Chase.
Powell, who will work out of the Charlotte, North Carolina, area, has extensive experience in sales management, senior leadership and origination. Powell previously owned Bedford Paulownia Partners and led a sales force of 19 with annual originations exceeding $450 million. Powell’s personal originations have exceeded $52 million in a single calendar year. His 25 years of experience in the industry include holding senior level positions with Virginia Equity Partners, Alliance Home Funding, Presidential Savings Bank and Preferred Mortgage Group.
