Invitation Homes appoints new executive vice president

Irwin Gordon first joined company as chief marketing officer

Invitation Homes, a provider of single family rental homes, announced G. Irwin Gordon as its executive vice president and chief revenue officer.

“We are pleased that Irwin has formally joined Invitation Homes as our chief revenue officer,” Invitation Homes CEO John Bartling said. “His proven ability to turn consumer facing ideas into concrete actions is unique in our sector.”

Gordon joined Invitation Homes earlier this year as its chief marketing officer. Now, Gordon will be responsible for developing and executing partnerships and programs that expand the company’s service offerings and drive revenue growth.

He will also be responsible for marketing strategy and execution, customer-care call center operations, lease administration and public relations and communications.

Gordon brings over 30 years of experience in companies as a CEO and as a leader of their marketing platforms.

Before joining Invitation Homes, he founded The Trion Group, which provides marketing and strategic management consulting services. Prior to that, he also held executive positions at Gruma Corporation, a maker of corn and flour tortilla products under the brand Mission Foods, Suiza Foods, now Dean Foods, several international Frito-Lay companies and Kellogg Company. He currently serves as an independent director of Heska Corporation.
