Realtor sues Ellen DeGeneres for denigrating her name

It's pronounced Tee-Tee, thank you very much

Coldwell Banker associate real estate broker, Titi Pierce, found herself the center of a gag on the Ellen DeGeneres show.

Now, she is fighting back.

Georgia based Pierce is suing Warner Brothers for the hurtful mention during the segment “What’s wrong with these signs.”

The show aired her name as part of shtick on female anatomy.

According to coverage in the Atlanta Journal Constitution, soon after the gag broadcast, fans of the show began to bombard Pierce’s cell phone with derisive motives.

While driving to Tampa, during the wake, and at the funeral itself, Ms. Pierce’s personal cell phone rang constantly with out-of-state numbers she did not recognize,” the suit says. “She answered several of the telephone calls and when she did, she was met with cruel voices laughing uncontrollably, asking if she was a real person, and repeatedly shouting ‘Titty Pierce,’” writes author Jennifer Brett.

“One caller mockingly told Ms. Pierce in a voice mail message that her ‘size DD, 37 bra is ready,’” the suit says.

As a result of the bit, the suit says, “Ms. Pierce and her family have faced repeated ridicule on the streets of her hometown (Warner Robins).”

The real estate agent’s first name is pronounced “Tee-Tee” and is a word that originates from Nigeria and means 'flower.'

Pierce is seeking $75,000 in damages.
