Courtney Chakarun spearheads the Innovation Catalyst Group at CoreLogic with executive team members across the company. Her primary responsibility is to drive innovation across the enterprise to develop unique residential property data-driven insights to power the global real estate economy. She has been a key contributor to CoreLogic Innovation Labs, a collaboration between CoreLogic and Pivotal Labs, to create a center of excellence supporting the launch of its next generation technology platform and the expansion of its global mobility program.
Chakarun has identified opportunities to recognize talent and employee achievement, creating an internal website where employees can share innovative ideas among their peers. Prior to joining CoreLogic, Chakarun held various leadership roles at General Electric, including leading new product innovation, mobility and research insights for GE Capital’s Retail Finance division.
WHAT IS ONE HABIT THAT HAS HELPED YOU SUCCEED?
The No. 1 habit that I employ is “continuous collaboration.” The mortgage industry is a complex ecosystem. To successfully launch a data solution and create better customer experience is a team sport. You have to understand your customers, listen to your stakeholders and play well across all functions.
