Virginia based corporation First Guaranty Mortgage, announced the addition of Van Evans to its team as regional sales manager, correspondent division.
First Guaranty Mortgage has been in business for over 25 years, and offers correspondent, wholesales and retail origination channels.
“Van is an exceptional value-add to the sales management team,” said Mark Mayhook, senior director of TPO production. “He brings stellar experience, vast product knowledge, outstanding sales management skillsets, and a wealth of industry relationships to FGMC.”
“Van will manage our West Region which encompasses California, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming, Nevada, Arizona, Hawaii, and Alaska,” Mayhook said.
Evans has 17 years of mortgages industry experience to bring to FFMC. Previously, he was division vice presiden of correspondent sales for Finance of America Mortgage, a Blackstone company.
Before that Evans was correspondent rural housing account executive for JPMorgan Chase. While there, he sourced and produced more than $5 billion in USDA Guaranteed Rural Housing loans.
Evans earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio.
