After 20 years of mortgage lending industry experience, Norman Scott became the relationship manager of the Warehouse Lending Division of First Guaranty Mortgage.

Previously, Scott was the vice president with the warehouse lending divisions of Bear Stearns Lending Group, Countrywide Home Loans and Jefferies and Co.

Most recently he was the managing director at Residential Mortgage Warehouse Lending Group of Sterling National Bank.

“The First Guaranty brand is attracting exceptional talent, and this continues to be a big part of our success,” said Ken Jones, executive vice president of Consumer and Warehouse Lending.

“Scotty is no exception,” Jones said. “He is well known and highly regarded throughout the industry, and we’re confident that he will only add to our winning formula and be a key contributor in our continued growth.”

Scott earned his Bachelor of Arts degree, international studies, from Iona College in New Rochelle, New York.
