Tina Fey buys $9.5M co-op above her home

Creates giant Upper West Side home

Comedian, actress and author Tina Fey locked in a $9.5 million co-op unit above her home, paying $2 million over the $7.5 million asking price, an article in Trulia said.

From the article:

Here’s the best part: Tina and her husband, Jeff Richmond, already own the unit below; they bought it back in 2009 for $3.4 million. Tina’s about to pull a Liz Lemon and combine the two units to make the ultimate Upper West Side home! (Hopefully, Tina, unlike Liz, won’t have to move in with the current residents to force them out.)

The article noted that the new home features two wood-burning fireplaces, 22 new windows, and a private elevator landing.
