Radian Guaranty, the mortgage insurance subsidiary of Radian Group (RDN), announced this week that its mortgage insurance is now available for non-delegated loans through a direct integration with Black Knight Financial Services’ (BKFS) Empower loan origination system.

According to Brien McMahon, Radian's chief franchise officer, lenders have been able to check rate quotes and submit delegated mortgage insurance orders through Black Knight’s Empower since 2005.

“Now we are making it even easier for lenders to order Radian MI on their non-delegated MI loans without ever leaving Empower,” McMahon said.

Jerry Halbrook, president of Black Knight's Origination Technologies division, said the integration with Radian adds value for Black Knight’s user base.

"The intuitive and easy-to-use Radian interface via the Empower LOS enables the efficient and accurate delivery of information to better meet the demands of mortgage lenders,” Halbrook added.
