Fay Servicing promotes Patrick Norton to president of loan originations

Also promotes Greg Reed to senior vice president of account management

Fay Servicing, a residential mortgage special servicer and originator, announced the promotion of Patrick Norton to president of loan originations of its origination division, Fay Mortgage Services.

Previously, Norton (pictured above) served as senior vice president of account management for Fay Mortgage Services.

In his new role, Norton manages all originations activities including sales, underwriting, funding and delivery. Norton also oversees the division’s adherence to its mortgage lending policies and ensures compliance with state and federal regulations.

Norton brings more than 18 years of mortgage banking experience to his new role. As senior vice president of account management at Fay Servicing, he was instrumental in leveraging the firm’s unique relationship-based servicing platform to drive years of exceptional growth and performance, the company said in a release.

Prior to joining Fay Servicing, Norton was first vice president of operations at Countrywide Home Loans/Bank of America, where he was responsible for divisional lending operations for all retail branches in the Midwest and the East Coast.

Before that, Norton held senior mortgage origination roles at HSBC and BancOne Financial Services.

Norton’s previous role will be filled by Greg Reed, who Fay Servicing promoted from his role as a first vice president in account management. In that role, Reed helped with the opening of Fay Servicing’s servicing center in Dallas.

Before joining Fay Servicing, Reed served as executive vice president of Great Western Financial Services where he oversaw sales, marketing operations and investor relations. Reed also held senior management positions at BancOne and Oak Street Mortgage.

“Patrick and Greg are both tremendous assets to the Fay Servicing team and we look forward to their continued success in these new roles,” said Ed Fay, chief executive officer of Fay Servicing. “Their expertise both in the industry and with our firm over the last few years will help to ensure our relationship-based approach to maximizing the customer experience is executed in both the servicing business and as we continue to grow the origination division.”
