A family in Maryland whose house is overrun with black rat snakes is suing their Realtor, saying the agent didn’t disclose the snake infestation despite knowing of it.
According to local media, exterminators have caught eight snakes so far throughout the house, and there are many more.
The snake infestation runs from the basement to the roof, they say.
From WPXI in Pittsburgh:
The family is suing for 2 million dollars. They say the infestation was known but not disclosed. They've already spent 50 thousand dollars trying to get rid of the snakes but haven't succeeded. The family has moved in with relatives nearby and are hoping to get a fresh start.
