Now Woellert is at the online brokerage Redfin, and she caught up with Sara again in looking at the state of the industry:

Her dad had built a career lauding the merits of homeownership, but after witnessing the crash up close, Sara wasn't buying his pitch. It's almost a year later and Sara, now 28, still isn't ready to own. We caught up with her yesterday, when the homeownership rate fell again, to its lowest level since 1989.
