BSI Financial SVP Jerry Azure passes away at 48

Mortgage professional created great legacy guiding hundreds into mortgage industry

Jerry Azure, who was senior vice president of all loan servicing at BSI Financial Services, passed away this past week at the age of 48.

Azure was with BSI Financial of over six years, originally joining the company as senior vice president of default services.

He had over 20 years of mortgage lending experiences and helped hundreds of mortgage professionals get into the business, successfully managing countless sales and loss mitigation/collection teams that created outstanding departmental results and record profits.

Before joining BSI Financial, Azure was director of loss mitigation with GreenTree Financial Services where he created, managed and led the Fort Worth, Texas team along with all other loss mitigation functions.

He also held leadership positions at Carlisle Street Funding as chief operation officers and Wells Fargo Home Mortgages as a branch sales manager, along with several other companies.

He attended Florida Metropolitan University from 1985 to 1987.

The viewing will be held Friday, April 10, 2015, from 6-8 p.m., and the funeral will be held Saturday, April 11, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Flower Mound Family Funeral Home.
