Gateway Mortgage relocates headquarters in Oklahoma

Looks to hire more loan originators

Gateway Mortgage Group is relocating its headquarters a little farther south of its current home in Tulsa and announced it broke ground for the Gateway District in Jenks, Oklahoma.

“This is a great milestone for Gateway and we are looking forward to being a part of the continued development in Jenks,” said Kevin Stitt, CEO of Gateway. “The new location has great visibility when traveling on highway 75 and will provide an easy commute for our employees.

Stitt explained that in recent years, Gateway has been focused on growing the company’s infrastructure and employee base in order to prepare for future growth. “This new location is a strong statement towards our commitment for our growth initiatives, local community and team members,” he said.

The new four-story, 85,000 square-foot building will be ready by spring 2016 and include 42,500 square feet available for lease. Future plans also extend to establish hotel locations in Jenks.

“This is an exciting development for Jenks,” said County Commissioner Karen Keith. “I am thrilled to see economic growth in Jenks and Tulsa County as it is good for the school and brings sales tax revenues to the city and county.”

Going forward, Stitt said, “We are focused on hiring great loan originators in current and future local markets as we work toward our 2020 projection of $20 billion in annual loan volume. In the past year alone, we have expanded our locations into the Northeast and East Coast, as well as growing here in this region with nearly 30 offices in Texas alone.”
