California-based real estate tax firm LERETA confirms it acquired Texas-based Industry Consulting Group, a property tax services company.
Details about the deal and financial information was not available.
LERETA will continue operations at ICG and will use this move to expand its tax services.
LERETA provides an array of tax reporting and auditing services for clients, while ICG provides tax reporting and valuation services, covering mortgage servicing, default services, manufactured housing and the energy sector.
LERETA is owned by executives Doug Foley and Jim Thornton, and a private investment group managed by Tarsadia Investments.
In February, the company announced it acquired the real estate tax services business of QBE.
QBE is a leading provider of lender-placed and residential property insurance.
"We are strong, healthy, and excited about the growth prospects and opportunities to continue to serve the changing needs of the mortgage servicing industry,” said CEO Foley, at the time.
