Arkansas real estate agent disappears under suspicious circumstances

Not seen since she went to show home to unknown person

One of Arkansas’ top real estate agents has been missing since Thursday, after going to meet with an unknown person at a home on Old River Road in Scott, Arkansas.

Beverly Carter, 49, is ranked as the No. 3 selling agent in Arkansas and holds a number of certifications and specialization titles. She is a member of the National Association of Realtors

The Pulaski County Sheriff's Office said she was reported missing by her husband. She was supposed to be meeting a potential client at 5:30 p.m. Thursday.

Sheriff’s deputies say that after he had not heard from her for three and half hours, her husband went to the home on Old River Road. There he found her car with her purse still inside it, but no sign of his wife.

Carter, sheriff’s deputies told local reporters, was last seen wearing a black sleeveless shirt and red shorts.
